UNC-Chapel Hill in Seville
COWA’s UNC-Chapel Hill in Seville programs are designed in collaboration with UNC’s Study Abroad Office and the Department of Romance Studies. Many courses are pre-approved for UNC cradit, allowing students to study abroad while staying on track academically.
The program is especially well suited for Spanish majors and minors, but is open to students from all disciplines. Students must have completed Spanish 204 and meet UNC’s minimum 2.9 cumulative GPA requirement.
Located in the heart of Andalusia, Seville offers an ideal setting for immersive study abroad. The city blends historic character with a vibrant, modern lifestyle and is known for its walkability, safety and welcoming community. Through homestays with Spanish families and experiential learning beyond the classroom, students integrate language study with daily life in Spain.
