Connect the world of UNC-Chapel Hill with Southern Spain!
COWA’s UNC in Sevilla programs have been designed in collaboration with UNC’s Study Abroad Office and Romance Studies Department, and many courses have been pre-approved for UNC credit. The programs are tailored to Spanish majors and minors, but open to students of all disciplines, who want to take their university experience abroad without falling behind on their coursework. To participate in the UNC in Sevilla program, students need to have successfully completed at least Spanish 204 and meet the minimum GPA requirements (2.9 cumulative GPA).
Immerse yourself in storied Seville, the regional capital city of Andalusia founded more than 1,000 years ago. Seville is the beating heart of southern Spain and boasts a proud heritage of bullfighting, tapas, and flamenco. Christopher Columbus’s quest for the New World began alongside the banks and quiet waters of Seville’s Guadalquivir River, which flows through the city.
