Students in the Spanish Advanced Studies (SAS) program must take the intensive course SEVI 410 “Contemporary Spanish Society” at the beginning of the semester and then choose 3 or 4 additional courses. Students may take COWA courses and combine those with 1 or 2 regular university courses with native speakers at the Campus Universitario EUSA or the Universidad de Sevilla. *Departmental permission is required for SAS students who wish to take only COWA classes.

All COWA courses have been pre-approved for graded credit by UNC. For EUSA and Universidad de Sevilla courses, students must seek credit approval from UNC.

In the section below, you will find the list of courses that will be available next semester. All Connecting Worlds program courses are pre-approved for UNC-Chapel Hill and the UNC-Equivalency appears right next to each course. Please note that courses with very low enrollments might end being cancelled.
