The UNC Summer Program in Sevilla offers short-term, five- to six-week opportunities for students whose schedules may not allow a semester- or year-long study abroad. Programs vary in focus, including language and cultures, science, and business Spanish. Students also earn UNC credit while living in one of Spain’s most vibrant cities.
Sevilla, ranked the number one city to visit by Lonely Planet in 2018, is home to the worlds largest Gothic cathedral and extensive network of bike paths rivaling Amsterdam. The city’s rich history spans Roman, Muslin, and Golden Age influences, and its streets are alive with culture, festivals and local traditions.
From strolling along the river and picnicking in Maria Luisa Park to enjoying a tinto at El Salvador, summer students will immerse themselves in Sevilla’s culture, practice their Spanish and make unforgettable memories – all while earning academic credit.
